Meghan & Harry 2018: Amal Clooney (With Husband) Did Not Come Quietly

For a lawyer, this lady sure does love the spotlight. Literally the only woman there in a bolder color was the Queen herself.

We can’t deny the impact, however. Then again, that was largely the point. The dress is a classic style, somewhat above reproach. Hard to get this one wrong, is what we’re saying.  Even so, the waist and the flare of the hips seem a little awkwardly placed. As for the hat, we don’t really love it. It’s a little sombrero-shaped, no? And while we’re glad she didn’t go for matchy shoes, we’re not sure metallic ones were the right choice.

George looks really great. He rarely puts this much effort in, but he nicely coordinates with her. Weddings are one of the few times we think adult couples can get away with coordinating looks.
