Come on, we all knew Hollywood Harry and his Hollywood Princess were going to James Bond this mother up at some point:

Because of course they did.
We keep trying to come up with jokes and snark here, but let’s face it: they look frikkin AMAZING.
And she definitely had a goal of keeping the frippery and sparkle to an absolute minimum today. She’s had too much of a life and a career to fall head-first into princess fantasies, so it feels like these minimalist chic looks are her way of holding onto herself through this process. It’s not some major statement (we don’t think), just a quiet and subtle sign that she’s going to approach this role with modernity and a certain force of will not normally expected from royal wives, although it’s probably the one quality Harry couldn’t have done without in a wife.
And let’s give it up for Stella, who doesn’t get a lot of love around here. This is spectacular; glamorous but low-key at the same time. Effortlessly sexy and chic.
