Miss Katie is here to drop a metric shit-tonne of SPRINGTIME on your face.

Sorry for the inelegant phrasing, but it’s just so refreshing to see celebrities embrace the season they’re in instead of the season that walked the latest runway. For whatever reason, it feels like this has been an unusually on-point spring for celebrity fashion.

Anyway, except for Zac Posen doing his usual schtick of making one simple element more complicated than it needs to be (in this case, the skirt), this is a perfectly lovely, lightly retro springtime look with a bit of richness and glam underlying it. It’s a dead-perfect choice for the venue and she looks really pleased with it. Then again, she always looks fairly pleased with herself.

Love the short hair. The shoes are nice, but we feel like there were better, more high-impact options.
