It’s a ripped-straight-from-the-runway look, which means we’re not inclined to love it or defend it by its very nature. This sort of thing isn’t “style” so much as it is modeling. And believe us, we think that’s perfectly fine on J Conn’s part. As always, we stick to the Golden Rule on these matters: Earn your dollars, girl.
No, the reason we felt like putting this up to a vote is because we find ourselves wondering if this isn’t one of the better super-cray LV looks we’ve seen from her:
Sure, it’s all over-the-top and even borderline ugly in places. The top is ridiculously overdesigned and nothing goes with anything else. At first glance, we’d have sworn she was wearing small birds on her feet. We’re still not convinced the pants weren’t designed to look like the fly was undone. All of this is rather silly and overdone. But considering the venue and her purpose in it, as well as the rather long line of truly horrifying LV looks she’s modeled over the years, we find this one strangely appealing in an extremely off-beat sort of way.
How about you? No, really.
Jennifer Connelly’s Total LV MishMash:
IN or OUT?
What? Stop looking at us like that. We’re not saying it’s real-world stylish. Just fun and well-presented high-fashion modeling at the right venue for it.
