Kittens, a smattering of stars came out for a little bit of LGBTQ support-showing. We are, as always, happy to see such a thing. But we will, as always, be judging their looks. With kindness and love, of course. As always.
Okay, maybe not “as always,” but we try, darlings!
It’s a nice suit, but we suspect it doesn’t photograph as good as it looks in person. The textile’s just a bit muddy for a red carpet. It would help if he buttoned the jacket and did up one button of the shirt. He’s looking a little sloppy. A suit like this needs a little bit of impeccability or a run in the opposite direction, to full-on sleaziness.
Alexis Bledel in J. Mendel
Kind of love the dress. It’s like something you’d see in the audience at a late ’70s Oscars ceremony. The styling’s not quite up to it. Don’t love the tight hair or the focus-pulling bag and shoes. Still, there’s something appealingly off-beat about it. It suits her.
Laverne Cox in Tadashi Shoji
It’s okay. The event doesn’t call for major fashion moments on the RC, so it gets the job done for her, but it’s not our favorite look of hers. And nowhere near our favorite Tadashi Shoji.
Lea Michele in Reem Acra
Pretty and understated. Lovely, even.
And you are…?
Samira Wiley in Galvan London
We can’t see anything but an industrial strength bra.
