In this episode of bitchery, one star upholds a new Star Wars poledancing tradition! Another star fails to understand the requirements of the Star Wars poledancing traditions! Let’s see who’s who and then judge them, yes? Yes!
This is distressingly awful. Given the raw material, so to speak, we have absolutely no idea why this guy keeps stepping out in front of cameras looking so bad. Let us break this down, style team. First, he’s a guy who needs considerable grooming for pictures, otherwise he looks sleepy and a little nauseous. Style that hair with product, shave that stubble, even out that skin tone and maybe put some ice cubes on his eyes for a few minutes. Keep him away from earth tones because they do nothing for him in pictures. Do not EVER put him in schlumpy, wide-legged, pleated pants. The boy needs tailoring, grooming and colors that flatter, which makes him exactly like everyone else, which is why we have no idea why he always looks like … this.
We like the basic idea of this look, but we question some of the details. The textile looks very heavy and upholstery-like. There are WAY too many decorative buttons on this thing. And finally, those shoes don’t go with it at all. It’s a look that could potentially be fresh and youthful, but the details give it a decidedly mature tone.
Gorgeous. LOVE the earrings. More and more, with one coming out practically every year, it’s become de rigeur for lady Star Wars cast members to work an actual star motif into her promo style. It’s turning into a cute little tradition and it’ll be fun to see if it gets more interpretive over time, as stylists try to find new ways to render it.
Anyway, the gown is a stunner in a color that looks amazing on her. But we have to admit, that flimsy little cord holding the whole thing up is a strange design choice.
Well, we found the guy who can’t just put on a tuxedo and look good. This is all kind of depressing, from the greasy, slept-in hair to the stubble to the tuxedo so badly fitted we’d think it was a rental.
