Why Miss Tina. Look at you, all quietly stylish and working your niche.
We might normally consider this style and especially this pattern to be not quite red-carpet ready for most wearers. The style comes across a little workmanlike and the pattern is small-scale, very busy and without much contrast or color to it, which means it doesn’t tend to look good in pictures.
But Tina’s most comfortable in workmanlike looks that don’t ask too much of her and don’t cast her as a glamour gal. And this style just looks great on her. As for the busyness of the textile, we find that despite going a bit muddy in pictures, it’s loud enough to give the dress some real personality. She might have been better off pulling one of the few colors out of it for the shoes. Red pumps seem like a focus-pulling bad idea, so we might have rec’d something in the brown family. And knowing she’s not much of a jewelry gal, we might have suggested a stylish watch to finish this off.
