We don’t tend to cover her as often as we probably should, although that’s probably due to her spending more time on red carpets promoting her husband’s work than her own. And it may also come down to the fact that her promotional wardrobe tends to be low-key pretty, feminine, and trend-avoidant. Classic looks, in other words.
But it’s a slow week, she’s got a movie out, and we found it notable that in a week when every other ladystar seems to want to dress for a funeral, Miss Leslie opted for sprinkling flowers all over the trend.

We may have done her a slight disservice in describing her style as non-trendy classic looks. While that’s largely true, she has a certain of-the-minute take that keeps her in the game. Right now, boots with floral dresses are a major spring trend as are big, ’80s-style belts, and she’s right there working both of them.
She knows the promo game better than most, so it’s not a surprise that she picks comfortable ensembles that give her confidence and photograph well. It’s too well put-together to be called “gets the job done” style. More like “gets the job done with style” style.

It’s kind of hard to tell from these pictures, but we’re pretty sure that’s a jumpsuit. We hope so, because the proportions would be a little weird if it was a dress. Again, this is “gets the job done with style” style. It’s not setting anyone’s work on fire, but she looks pretty, stylish, comfortable and telegenic. It may be a disservice to refer to her style in strict working terms, but that’s because they simply work.
