Joe’s got a role in this movie, but you wouldn’t know it by the way he’s dressed. That’s right. We’re gonna be total bitches about this.
They’ve both toned down their public style considerably since getting married. It happens. And in their case, as celebrities, it tends to act as a buffer against any rumor-mongering about the state of their marriage. Let’s just say Channing and Jenna did not go through the same post-wedding style dial-down that Joe and Sofia did. No predictions being made here, of course. Just a note that it doesn’t necessarily speak bad of them if they’ve both opted to seek slightly less attention than they used to.
Besides, this look feels like a slight return to form for Sofia, even if it is relatively low-key. The print looks great on her and she gets to work a minor version of the more extreme mermaid silhouettes she used to favor more often. Personally, we’d have liked to have seen the accessories pick up on the pops of brown and blue in the print, but that’s a minor point. She looks pretty great.
He doesn’t look bad, necessarily. But he looks like someone who didn’t put more than 5 minutes of thought into what they were going to wear. It’s boring, Joe. Jazz it up a little. No one’s asking you to return to your Magic Mike wardrobe, but a little oomph in the style would help. Having said that, it’s a nice suit. We just hate it with a black shirt and no tie.
