Okay, so a lot of folks are going to consider this ensemble kind of goofy and over the top. To us, it’s just strong branding, a photogenic visual, and pretty much on point for a festival atmosphere like Coachella.
But there are three details to this look that kind of doom it to awkwardness, in our opinion. Let’s play Spot the Nitpick, darlings!
The first nitpick: The unzipped bodysuit. The visual lines are askew because of it. We realize it’s hot and sunny, but for pictures at least, a zipped-up front would’ve gone a long way.
The second nitpick: The runway footwear. Should’ve stayed on the runway. We realize she’s selling her wares, but those wares include kicks, which is really what this look called for in this setting. Yellow stiletto booties in the desert just make you a little Edina Monsoon-y.
The third nitpick: We realize this is the nitpickiest of all, but the flat hair with the flip is not her best look and it doesn’t balance out the rest of the look at all. If anything, it distracts from it a little.
