We find ourselves wanting to love this, but we’re afraid that after more time considering this look than is probably healthy for us, we only like it. We’re sorry January is sobbing right now at this news.
It almost worked, girl. We can’t say we’re a hundred percent in love with the design of that moto, but the cuffs and waistband at least give the look some visual interest. Had this been a plainer moto, this look would have gone totally generic. And while the pants seem a little dressy for the top half of the look, we don’t mind the idea of them paired with white pumps as a way to make it all pop a little. Where it really falls down is the shirt choice. Again, we could see working a plain white t-shirt here, so long as it was of good enough quality to be paired with the other pieces. But not only is that a cropped tee, which is a total no, as far as we’re concerned, but it looks a little ratty and stretched out.
Keep the jacket, get a nicer t-shirt, put on a pair of black jeans and switch those pumps out for red ones.
