Darlings, those lovable sex robots of Westworld came out to celebrate the show’s impending second season, giving us many opportunities to sharpen our claws. Join us, won’t you?
Angela Sarafyan in Honor
Sexy Sister-Wife! We’re always railing against the weird proportions that plunging necklines sometimes force on dresses, but we’ll note that this one is exactly the right size and shape. We don’t love the sleeves, though. And it would do a lot more for her if it had some color to it.
Sleazy finance dude in a bar. A business suit and slicked-back hair is never going to be a look that speaks of empathy and sincerity.
Evan Rachel Wood in Altuzarra
We’re not loving the trend toward beige this spring (we’re seeing more and more of it), but if you have to wear it, then a pin-striped three-piece is the way to do so. She looks fabulous.
Working that Corny Collins realness. We salute you, James. You always seem to understand that basic business suits on the red carpet are kind of dumb.
Having said that, we question the tie and shirt.
It’s a fine look, it a little dull.
We love the suit and kind of like the shirt. Unfortunately, they never should have been paired up. And button your jacket for pictures, mister.
A black dress shirt, no tie, and a shiny suit are always going to read mafia. And we don’t care if you are a Hemsworth, you get to undo just one button before you start looking like a strip club manager.
Nice. Red would not have been our choice for tie color, but it’s a minor quibble, along with the ever-present one about the jacket being unbuttoned. Guys, why is this hard? It’s literally one button. You can do it one-handed the second you step out of your limo.
Thandie Newton in Osman
LOVE. This might look a little clowny on someone else, but she’s got a real knack for working the bold and unusual. We’re not at all convinced on the shoes, though.
