You’re gonna think we’re nuts, but we don’t hate this.
She’s never going to serve up high-fashion moments on red carpets, just like she’s never going to wander away from the pin-straight, center-parted hair. She’s stubborn about it at this point, so we’re trying to work with what she’s willing to serve. Her public style is pretty much indistinguishable from her personal one: a vaguely lazy, laid back sort of beachy chic; simple shapes, little in the way of embellishments, and leg-focused. To us, given how limited she is, this is working pretty well for the occasion. The only part we don’t like is the half-assed sash job, but the overall effect is just glam enough, flatters her and plays to all her preferences, leaving her comfortable and confident.
Not that she ever had difficulties expressing her self-confidence, but still. We’re pretty okay with this, but we’re leaving the final call to you (knowing pretty well how it’s gonna go because we’re stinkers that way):
