We don’t know what’s wrong with us, you guys. We keep trying to convince ourselves we hate this, but it’s not taking.
We don’t LOVE it, so put away the rocks and garbage you were planning on pelting us with. But there’s something about the proportions and the style of the dress itself that has us thinking this one dress-over-jeans look might actually work. Something about the volume of the top half along with the tightly defined waist makes the surprising bottom half actually work. The problem here is with the jeans. They shouldn’t be white. While a matching off-white pair might make the look seem more unified, we propose the same style of jeans in black would really pull this together into an eye-catching look. It’s all a little odd when you take a step back, but the look is right on the border of really working.
The earrings are pretty, as is her face and hair. She seems to have moved from a no-makeup stance to one where she sports a clean and very lightly touched-up face, which is probably the best kind of makeup look for her.
