In some ways, this is the perfect sitting-down outfit for an interview. The colors look great on her, there’s lots of visual interest, her face is framed well, her legs are highlighted, and she looks relatively comfy.
But the truth is being slightly hidden here. Yes, this looks great while she’s seated, but the real story is just how goofy it looks when she’s standing:
Or maybe the real story is that she can make this look work, standing or sitting. The girl’s just got that kind of magic to her.
It’s mostly about that sweater, which is all you see once she sits down. We can see the argument that it’s weirdly shaped and over-designed, but we can’t explain it. It just works for her. She can handle a lot of visual noise in her style choices the way someone like Kristen Stewart can handle wearing ten pounds of makeup without looking overdone. In real-world, Non-Yara terms, we think this sweater would look really cute with a simple pair of jeans, but this ensemble may be FYO.
