Tessa Thompson at the Chanel Party in Los Angeles: IN or OUT?

We love the way Miss Tessa expresses her style. And we love the way her face can take to such a wide range of looks and styles. But isn’t this all just a bit much for her to handle? And we’re talking about a lady who can normally handle a lot.

It’s almost like… there’s just not enough interest being generated given all she’s being asked to handle here. In other words, it’s fuzzy, and goofy, with some interesting head-styling that we’re pretty sure doesn’t suit her, but at the end of the day it’s just a black mini skirt with a frilly white blouse. A lot of effort to make something so basic look chic, we’re thinking. In fact, she’d have been much better off working a minimalist version of this than one with all this foofaraw.
