Storm Reid, Princess in Prada, at the “A Wrinkle in Time” European Premiere

Posted on March 14, 2018

This is so ridiculously cute that we almost feel like it gives us a reason to take the rest of the day off. Because what can we possibly write or feature that’ll top this for sheer style pleasure?

That is just ridiculously cute and chic. It’s Cute-Chic.

It’s a shame that the fit is slightly off in the bodice, causing all that shifting in the front and gaping in the back. On the other hand, she managed to show up in a pink satin dress with almost no wrinkles, so we’re willing to be more forgiving. Still, the fit does bug, as do the shoulder bows. The overall effect is too good and too on-point, though. It works on impact alone.

Once again, we want to point out how this differs from the kind of Vogue-cover looks and poses Millie Bobby Brown has been seen wearing in her promotional work. Even with an open back and naked stilettos, this look has a youthful, sweet vibe to it that keeps the more grownup elements of the look in check. Keeping the makeup and jewelry low-key was a good idea. It lets the dress and that spectacular hair do all the work.
