We suppose she’s got some free time on her hands with Star Trek: Discovery‘s first season concluded. Maybe that’s why she keeps popping up on red carpets more now than when she was promoting the show. We haven’t covered her enough to make firm observations about her style, but it always struck us as a little off the beaten path. We think these looks sort of bear that out, but they also show a preference for some pretty heavy embellishments.

This look is probably helped by the poor lighting and angle of these shots. We’re pretty sure we’d hate a mirrored bodysuit over a sheer skirt under standard red carpet lighting. But there’s something a little fun and sexily romantic about seeing this look in a more or less “real world” setting. She’s pulling off a really difficult shade of green, and if this skirt were lined, we’d probably be doing all kinds of finger snaps and imploring her to continue her WERQage.
That bag really doesn’t go, though. Right?

We’ve gotta say, we’re loving the whole Amazon/Dora Milaje/Studio 54 melange of this look. It’s glamorous, sexy, and hard as hell.
We think we liked that pink lip better with the green dress, though.
