Personally, as two classically minded (which is totally NOT a euphemism for “old,” so shut up) queens, we tend to think an invite to a Dior party, complete with one’s pick of Dior items to wear, shouldn’t result in a look like this one:
On the other hand, she’s young and trying to figure out her public image, so a little bit of fun and fooling around on the style front is not only expected, but encouraged. And besides, it’s all for-real Dior, so why not? The invite clearly didn’t have a dress code (other than “Wear Dior,” most likely), so go with our blessings, Paris. It’s a fun, relatable, age-appropriate party outfit. That it probably all costs as much as used car in good condition is beside the point. It’s free and you’re young. Dive in.
