Bow down to your King, for he is WERQing it:
The menswear choices he’s been making for the last month are literally some of the most exciting celebrity male ensembles we’ve seen in years. Sure, there are plenty of dandy men and edgy men among the star set, but Chadwick’s style expresses itself not just by being dandified or having an edge, but by working within a very strict set of style choices, in almost Janelle Monae-like way. It’s all kept impeccable, dark, regal, and when possible, non-western in tone or inspiration – all while being recognizable standard formal menswear from big name designers. It’s very similar to what his Wakandan sisters have been pulling off on the red carpet lately, but if anything, he’s been pulling from a more impressive pool of designers. It’s high-end, high-fashion menswear from some of the most prestigious houses in the world, tailored perfectly to his body and his preferences. We don’t know if the brief was “Dress me like an African king,” but damn if he doesn’t keep stepping out looking like one. And in Givenchy, no less.
It helps that the finishing touches are perfect. His hair looks amazing and those boots are to-die-for.
Also: while he’s gorgeous, it should be entered into the record that his crooked, boyish smile is just about everything.
