What we mean by that headline is this: Lady O’s got her ways and there’s no point in quibbling about them because she’s Lady O. Not that we find the following all that troublesome. Quite the contrary; it’s good, serviceable style that clearly adheres to Oprah’s own preferences.
We kinda wish she wasn’t so keen on wearing pullover sweaters on the red carpet, but like we said, this is her current style and it works for her. The skirt’s great. We might have suggest a little bit more in the way of sparkle or contrast up top (some touches of red would’ve been welcome), but Oprah’s gonna Oprah. And besides, she looks comfortable and confident here, which hasn’t always been the case with Oprah and red carpets. She knows herself.
