We thought this was a weensy bit tacky on first glance:
But as Miss Sarah Paulson handily proved, network parties are the place where you make your big play. Someone with name and face recognition levels of fame are just naturally going to try and elevate the amount of attention they get. But putting that aside, we wonder if we’d like this more if it wasn’t silver, which tends to give it a flashiness the design doesn’t need.
We keep seeing that curved hem on tops lately. It seems the stylists have all settled on this and we’ll need to wait for them to get it out of their systems. It’s not terrible here. Or at least, it’s not terrible enough for us to edit it out for the mental version of this look that comes in navy blue and is paired with pumps. What can we say, darlings? Our minds wander and we wind up liking the mental image of what a look could be rather than what it actually is.
