Behind Miss Margot’s Harley Quinn-like smile is a private promise to fire someone – ANYONE – for this travesty.
After all, if you’re going to be standing next to the 6-foot tall walking definition of “willowy,” the last thing you want …
Margot Robbie in Chanel
Is a goofy-ass Chanel ensemble that makes you look wide and short.
We get that the design is playing with proportions and expectations. We don’t even dislike it. But we think it’s not serving her particularly well in this situation. The skirt looks great on her, but that jacket would look better paired with slim pants, we think.
Elizabeth Debicki in Erdem
This is really pretty and very appropriate for her because it plays to her strengths. Despite our constant praise for her ladylike chic style preferences, we have to admit, whenever we’re reminded that shes 27 years old, we’re a little startled by that fact. Nothing wrong with old-school elegance at any age, but sometimes we think she’d benefit from a bit of a loosening up, if not some edginess. Nothing wrong with letting Cate Blanchett be your style mentor, but maybe let a little bit of Kristen Stewart or Evan Rachel Wood sneak in now and then, dear.
Poor Margot’s all “I look like a toddler and her dress is turning my legs yellow. Get me the hell out of here.”
