Let’s all give Lorraine Schwartz a round of applause, because she clearly has a lot of powerful celebrity lady friends willing to come out and applaud her wares, thereby giving us all something to discuss; namely, their outfits.
Shall we, then?
Blake Lively in Brandon Maxwell
We’re not used to seeing her in something so low-key, but then again, we’re not used to seeing her on a red carpet when she’s not promoting herself or her husband. It’s a perfectly fine look. In fact, it’s almost refreshing to see her in something where she’s simply not trying all that hard.
But the shoes are awful, of course.
Heidi Klum in Ralph & Russo
Heidi gonna Heidi. But y’know? We think we might actually like this. It’s bold and sexy, but it’s not super-tacky, the way some of her “bold and sexy” looks tend to go. In fact, she looks better here than when she was out promoting her own show earlier this week.
Julianne Moore cosplay.
It’s okay, but not great. The hair color really doesn’t suit her and that lace bodysuit is kind of awful.
Go back to bed, Rita.
Sarah Hyland in Vatanika
What a goofy-ass little dress. We’ve about had it with all the puffy things hanging off celebrity ladies’ arms of late. The weirdly molded effect of the bust makes it look like she’s wearing the latest offerings from boobsforqueens.com and the mismatched blacks kind of bug.
Sofia Vergara in Martha Medeiros
Just another Wednesday night for Miss Sofia – although we have to say, she looks pretty great in this fairly standard dress.
