Darlings, a framing question for this post:
As you scroll down, take each look into consideration and ponder. Does Miss Saoirse strike you as someone who likes to try new things or as someone who really hasn’t figured her style out yet?

Ah yes. When Chanel broke with tradition and walked their spring collection down a runway in Whoville rather than Paris.
We like the head styling, though. She’s never been able to pull off that winged eye, but the … head jewelry (?) is kind of cool and the top knot seems like a good choice with that goofy-ass outfit. As for that, it could all go chic if you removed the Party City lei around her neck and let the pants down to her ankles, as God intended.

She bounces back and forth between goofy/edgy looks and practically minimalist ones. But even with the latter, she seems to prefer some sort of twist. We really like the color story here. The shape and general style of the dress suits her. But that stupid boob ribbon ruins it. Even if it was perfectly fit across her bust (it’s not), it would still give the illusion that it was squeezing her.
Also, this look needs a little something-something. The hair and nearly invisible makeup could use an upgrade. The whole look definitely needs some jewelry. And while we never think they’re a necessity in a red carpet situation, a sharp clutch or minaudiere would do a lot of work here.

Finally, she gets one right. Mostly. Put it this way: it doesn’t have serious issues like the first two. Personally, however, we think it could use a little tweaking.
She loves these washed-out colors, and to be fair, she’s a bit better at working them than the Fanning girls, but she really would be better served with a little more richness in her hue choices. Still, it’s hard to argue that she can’t work a blue. It’s another minimalist dress with a boob twist; this time it’s a simple and unobtrusive window that doesn’t take away from anything. Love the earrings. Not sure about the shoes. There’s something about a pale blue sheath and clunky black shoes that says ’90s to us. Everything else is serving up an icy, shimmery vibe. Why add black to it? Silver sandal, girl.
So: Youthful unpredictability or a girl in need of some good style advice?
