Style File: Margot Robbie Goes to Extremes in Chanel and Givenchy

Posted on February 20, 2018

Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Margot Robbie, Human Salt & Pepper set!

Miss Lady was apparently feeling a whole “light vs. dark” thing this weekend. Or maybe the #TimesUp protest left her feeling colorless. Whatever the reason, she went stark in her style.

This is pretty fun, actually. Considering how closely she’s stayed within the theme of the film, we’re surprised she didn’t break this dress out earlier. It looks like a couture skating costume. A bit shapeless, though. And we’re not feeling the asymetrical hem. But it’s got a wintertime drag feel to it and the gold sandals make for a nice touch.

This is a no, we’re afraid. We realize a black dress code might make one feel that their choices to stand out are limited, but that doesn’t mean any old weird black dress is a good idea. From the skin cell skirt to the weirdly creepy patches of lace to the overall askew feeling of it, this is one weird dress. Looking at the runway shot, we can see this is frock is clearly FMO – For Models Only.
