Storm Reid Steps into the Spotlight, in Coach at the “A Wrinkle in Time” Los Angeles Premiere

Posted on February 27, 2018

Looks like brunch is over, darlings.

We noted yesterday how low-key and approachable everyone’s style choices tended to be on this promo tour and suggested that it might still be the case once the premieres started happening. Well, Miss Storm is here to shut our mouths.

Brava, L’il Darling, you are a STAR.

We just love this, first for being so colorful and sparkly and pretty; second, for being sweet and youthful and naively romantic. In other words, she’s serving up pure Disney Princess.

The skirt and the hair are pure stunners, but we have to admit, the top has some execution problems. It would seem to be a bit too flimsy and delicate to survive a limo ride without looking a little beat up. The yoke and the sheer sleeves are pretty, but the rest of it looks a bit too much like sleepwear, which is still, to our dismay, a trend. It’s certainly not enough to detract from the prettiness of the overall look, but if these two fairy godfathers had their wands at hand, we’d have wished a fix on it.

Still, what a lovely debut.
