Miss Margot has been working the ’80s and ’90s on her I, Tonya tour and just this week started working a walking Easter basket aesthetic to promote Peter Rabbit. But for this venue, she opted to strip away all the promotional tricks and just work on showing up in high style.
We’d say she nailed it.
We think the sleeve length is a little awkward, but it’s very Chanel. We think the fuzziness is questionable, but it’s very Lagerfeld. We also think the black tights in the runway look really make it. Even so. She looks pretty great. We’d swear there’s almost this sense of relief that she can just put on a pretty Chanel and call it done without worrying about whether she matches the movie logo or is making the right callbacks in her style choices. And why not? After all, this is a victory lap, not a promotional tour.
