Looking at these two in the “friend’s wedding” outfits, you wouldn’t think they represented some sort of massive shift in their styles, but they do.
Okay, maybe not a massive shift, but hyperbole is the blogger way, darlings. Our point: they each tried something a little new, to varying effect.
Mr. Joe, that is not your suit. We don’t know whose suit it is, but whoever he is, he has a ridiculously long torso, short arms and slim shoulders. And while we realize this is a somewhat low-key affair, this look is way too somber and funereal. What happened to our Big Hot Joe? Who is this buttoned-up man wearing his face.
Sofia Vergara in Monique Lhuillier
This is a pretty good look for her, but we can’t say we like the print very much. It feels more than a little dated. On the other hand, it’s a print, which is rare for her, and she’s got room to breathe in it, which is even more rare. She looks breezy and photogenic and comfortable, so it’s all good.
But those earrings just don’t go, right? We realize there’s green in the dress, but the shades clash. More importantly, those seem like pretty grandiose earrings for a dress like this.
