We thought Miss Jennifer’s BAFTAs gown was perhaps a bit too severe, although we liked her somewhat downscale, semi-casual style for the screening a couple days back. But for the main event, Miss Lady went big n’ sexy:
She doesn’t go the HOTNESS route too often in her promo style (which is to her credit, honestly), but she’s always had the confidence of knowing that it was a tool in her arsenal and unleashes it judiciously.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Couture
Even though the entire color story is a bit too washed out for her, we still love that skirt for its subtle color variations. We wish some of that pink and blue could have extended up into the top half (“bodice” seems like a misnomer here), since the beige color is an almost exact match to her hair and skin tone. And while this is clearly a dress that was designed not to be worn with a bra, the criss-cross lacing right underneath the bust can’t help but give it a drooping feel. A shame, because her girls look fantastic in it. Just remove the lacing and the look would improve.
Loving the hair and the big honkin’ ring. It’s fun to see her go a little extra now and then.
Joel Edgerton in Brunello Cucinelli
