Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning Miu Miu it Up at the “Hello Apartment” Premiere

Sisters are doing it for themselves:

Kid Sis Elle showed up to support Big Sis Dakota’s directorial premiere. The ironic part is, Elle showed up looking like a director and Dakota showed up looking more like a movie star than she normally does.

This is really lovely. And it’s so unlike her normal style of dress that part of us hopes she’s okay with it and doesn’t feel forced into it. Which… why would she, really? We suppose she’s just in a celebratory mood and made the uncharacteristic choice to dress up for it. Whatever the case, she looks really great. Of course we’d love to see her in a richer color than this, but it’s a lovely shade of blue, the shape and style of the dress really suit her, and the silver accents give it some glam.

The shoes are kind of awful, but that’s how we know she’s a Fanning. It’s in their blood.

Love the suit and the overall professional vibe she’s going for. Unfortunately, the leather sash is terrible and the shoes are REALLY wrong for it. Someone seriously should have waved her away from those things. Nothing about them says “pair me with a plaid pantsuit.”
