Grammys 2018 Style File: Rita Ora in Zuhair Murad and Ralph & Russo Couture

Posted on January 30, 2018

Miss Rita had herself a weekend. And as always, her looks were high-impact, photogenic, and looked like she was cosplaying as other famous women. Girl, we know it’s hard to find your own look when everyone else is defining theirs, but it’s pretty much essential in your line of work.

First up, Miss Rita travels to the Kingdom of Kardashia, with its strange customs and hideous folk costumes:

Behold the Kardashian Chicken look! Take a generic Kardashia-Jenner gown from 2013, hot glue feathers and pieces of a bathmat all over it, and before you know it, you’ve got a real fucking fashion disaster on your hands!

How does one even leave the house looking like this? Why does anyone leave the house looking like this?

For the main event, Miss Rita returned to an old favorite of hers:

Beyonce cosplay.

It’s fine. Maybe it’s not fair to level the Beyonce comparison at her yet again, but between the blonde blowout, the high slit, the lack of color and the unusual silhouette – all things that Bey tends to go for in her formal style – it’s really hard to avoid the comparison. Does she ever look at a dress and go, “No, that’s way too Bey/Kim/Ri?” Because it sure doesn’t seem so.
