Style File: Reese Witherspoon Hits The Awards Circuit in Dolce&Gabbana and Zac Posen

Miss Reese has been the definition of a good friend and co-worker as she’s cheered louder than anyone else every time one of her Big Little Lies co-stars wins an award, helped pitch in on launching “Time’s Up,” AND has managed to show up on every red carpet turned out. Attawoman. She may not have won as much recognition for her work in BLL as her co-stars, but her image has come out of all of this pretty much polished to perfection.

Having said all that, we’re not crazy about this one. This sort of dirndl silhouette does nothing for her. The sparkle is fun and the color is interesting, but the shape is all wrong. Love the shoes but they’re also not quite right for the look.

This, on the other hand, is pretty flawless. We’ll never like Zac Posen’s penchant for boob flaps or boob pleats, but this one isn’t so bad. The ruffle effect extending out to the sleeve does a lot to help that element from looking droopy. The color is gorgeous. We saw several green gowns on this red carpet, but this was easily our favorite.
