There was a greater-than-usual level of sparkle on the SAG Awards red carpet, but this dress was the one that really stuck with us among that shiny lot:
It’s certainly not the most eye-popping dress of the night, nor is it trendy or fashion-forward. But she happens to look pretty amazing in a black-and-silver combo. She also has a slightly dicey red carpet resume, with more than her share of tackiness to be found when flipping through her portfolio. This is surprisingly elegant and marries glam with chic at just the right balance for her.
And major kudos to her style team for making sure that hem hit the floor exactly as it was designed to. It’s a little thing, but it makes such a difference. Imagine if her shoes were poking out or worse, it was all puddling up around her feet.
