SAG Awards 2018: Halle Berry Remembered She’s a Star in Pamella Roland

While we scramble to get the Oscar Nominations post up, this would be a good time to check in on Miss Halle, serving up Classic Movie Star Glam. That in itself might not have been notable, but Miss Lady rather uncharacteristically showed up looking … pretty much perfect.

Yeah, that’s backhanded of us. And sure, there are things to quibble with here, such as the hairstyle, which doesn’t suit her, or the underplayed makeup, which is kind of her thing. And no, the dress isn’t pushing any envelopes or demonstrating fierce high style. But she has a history of half-assing things on the red carpet. Resting on pretty, she was “pulling a Jolie” before Angie was even a thing. And she had a preference for shredded, post-apocalyptic, Beyond Thunderdome-style fashions for the longest time. Sue us. This may be basic, but it’s refreshing to see her looking this glam.
