Heidi Klum and Katy Perry Live Out Their Dreams at Minnie Mouse’s Walk of Fame Star Ceremony

Posted on January 23, 2018

It just seems so right, doesn’t? First, that Miss Minnie, in this year of the woman, would finally get her star 40 years after her man got his? And second, that they’d pick these two living cartoon women to stand by her side in solidarity at this moment of triumph?

She’s literally a corporate logo, so it never would have happened, but how amazing would it have been if Minnie had been sporting a “TIME’S UP” pin smack in the middle of that hair bow? We’re just saying.

Also, this whole event was inadvertently sponsored by Project Runway, given the cast of characters involved.

We have to believe that Katy and Heidi coordinated their looks on some level. Or maybe Heidi’s team was simply smart enough to know that Katy was going to go over the top and that they’d be better off finding a chic, understated way to pay tribute. This is, somewhat hilariously, in the Top Five most classically chic ensembles we’ve seen Heidi wear at a promotional event. Of all things, it was Minnie Mouse drag that calmed down Miss Heidi’s poor style instincts.

MINNIE MOUSE + KATY PERRY + CHRISTIAN SIRIANO = this entire look explained.

We’re a little surprised by the shoe choice. Once you commit to the full drag, you should just go ahead and put on the yellow platform pumps to complete the picture. Those things are way too standard.
