Michelle Williams attends the 75th Golden Globewith activist and creator of the “Me too” movement, Tarana Burke.
Okay first, the frivolous stuff:
Why, Miss Michelle! How on earth did you get the folks at Louis Vuitton to simmer the hell down and produce a chic, relatively simple look for you? Could it be that you grabbed your LV rep by the throat and made it perfectly clear that, due to the importance of the evening and out of respect to the woman who agreed to be photographed next to you all night, under no circumstances would you be stepping out in any of the house’s contractually obligated nonsense? Or perhaps you were so distraught at being declared the third-worst look of 2017 by the mighty T Lo that you threw yourselves on their mercy and begged for them to make you look pretty, just this once?
Whatever the route that got you there, we’re just happy to see you in an LV that makes you look great, instead of embarrassed. Well done.
This concludes the frivolous portion of this post.
Tarana Burke is the founder of the #MeToo movement and Senior Director for Girls for Gender Equity, an organization committed to the physical, psychological, social, and economic development of girls and women.
