You see, we find that we’re going to need some backup on the whole task of coming to a conclusion about this look:
It’s got that broad-shouldered ’80s-style exuberance she tends to work really well. But from a design perspective, that skirt seems a bit voluminous and heavy for a bodice like that one. And the embroidery, while beautiful, is simply way too heavy and focus-pulling in that oh-so Gucci way. But we don’t know, you guys… maybe we’re just in a kind mood given the vibe of this particular red carpet, but despite our quibbles & crits, we find ourselves a little smitten. She’s just got the knack, you know?
It will be up to you to slap us out of our stupor, should it be warranted. Don’t shirk your responsibilities, now.
