On a night when more than one woman tried to work one, Miss Gal blew everyone else out of the water in the lady-tux game.
We admit to being initially a bit surprised there weren’t more women in pants and actual tuxes, but the further in the rear window this red carpet gets, the more we’re inclined to see a real collective effort to celebrate the glamour of their industry while sticking to the social justice themes of the night. Women took this opportunity to really think about what they were wearing and subsequently, a lot of them brought their A games and wound up serving personal bests. Miss G, take a bow. You look ridiculously amazing, Amazon.
(Having said that, it’s a bit of a shame the lapels are so pucker-y.)
