This is pretty much the quintessential Gal Gadot look. Certain aspects of her style have never really been to our tastes, but we’ve come to respect the look over time.
If we had to label her style brief, it would be something like “Body-Con Unfussiness.” She dresses in simple shapes and bold colors to highlight the lines of her body, eschewing most of the frippery and embellishment you’ll find on the average red carpet gown. From the tight hair and clean face down to the kitten heels, she dresses in a way that works for her, gets the job done and doesn’t cause her too much annoyance. Like an unexpectedly stylish Olympic athlete or something – which is entirely appropriate for Wonder Woman.
But she’s also a Gal (we are to be commended for deploying this pun so infrequently rather than vilified for making it at all) who likes a frock with one goofy or weird detail. And since she likes her shapes to remain simple, that usually means a goofy-as-hell neckline. Admittedly, it’s the only part of the look – other than the color – that provides any interest. That’s not enough of a point to recommend it, though. We can accept either the goofy neckline or the keyhole, but one of them definitely has to go.
