Friday Leftovers for the Week of January 21st, 2018

Posted on January 26, 2018

Kittens, let’s wrap this rascal of a week up with some rapid-fire opinions on all the looks that failed to set us on fire!

And… GO.

Alicia Keys in Saint Laurent

Either the pleated skirt or the studded top with the padded shoulders, but not both at the same time.

Andrea Riseborough

These shoulders, on the other hand, work perfectly to balance the look. It’s still a turtleneck and that’s objectively bad, but it’s a strong look that suits her.

Charlie Heaton and Natalia Dyer (in Prada)

That is so not your color, girl.

Take a shower, boy.

Chloë Grace Moretz in Victoria Beckham

She’s such a suck-up, wearing her boyfriend’s mom’s designs all the time, but we can’t deny this looks pretty great on her.

Danai Gurira

It’s a Planned Parenthood event held at Sundance, which means we’re willing to forgive a LOT. Not really feeling the dress, but the jacket is fun.

Danielle Brooks

That’s a pretty sweet frock on her.

Debra Messing

It’s got some drama to it and the lines are very flattering. She looks good.

Diane Kruger in Mugler

Corsets and waist trainers aren’t our favorite fashion look, but it sure does suit her.

Emmy Rossum in David Koma

Take that satin ruffle off and this would be fine, weird shoes aside.

Emmy Rossum

Really cute, perfectly appropriate look for the event.

Eva Longoria

Works for us.

Isabelle Huppert in Giorgio Armani

It’s fine. It suits her. It’s a bit dull/

Katie Holmes

There’s a little bit too much going on with the design here, but it’s probably the least boring thing we’ve seen her wear in some time.

Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon

Adorbs. Love her shoes.

Laurie Metcalf and Saoirse Ronan

Laurie looks fabulous. Saoirse, you can have the goofy dress or the goofy shoes, but not both at the same time. Truth be told, you’d be better off ditching all of it.

Natalia Dyer

Cute, but it feels more summer than January.

Priyanka Chopra

Sundance Style in a nutshell.

Rebecca Hall in Prada

Yes, she’s pregnant. Not a bad dress, but the shoes aren’t great.

Rita Ora in Tom Ford

Sure, why not?

Sarah Hyland

We hate this style of dress and we’re not big fans of the color either. Sorry, girl. It’s kind of awful from where we’re sitting.

Taryn Manning

It’s pretty in its own way, but its DECADES too old for her. This is pure Helen Mirren style.

Teyonah Parris

LOVE.

Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer

Cute, of course, but it always seems wrong that they’re not making out.
