Chloë Sevigny Unveils an Alter at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival

Darlings, meet Rebekah.

Rebekah is a simple, homespun sort of girl, with an unlikely interest in high fashion, born out of her unexpected love of Vogue magazine, issues of which she manages to pick up any time she visits the recycling center with a wagon full of bottles and scrap metal to sell. Living a modest lifestyle off the grid, Rebekah spins all her own textiles and crafts all her own embellishments by hand. Unfortunately, without electricity or even much in the way of candle light, she can only produce small swatches of fabrics which she then pieces together to make what she calls “one of my creations,” accompanied by a twirl and usually the upending of a small side table or oil lamp. Her other interests include writing in her diary, bees, and making up songs.
