Critics’ Choice Awards 2018: Margot Robbie Clowns it Up in Chanel: IN or OUT?

Posted on January 12, 2018

Miss Margot ditched the cray ’80s and ’90s-inspired drag of her I, Tonya poledance for some straight-up modern high fashion.

While still remaining a bit cray, of course.

We freaking love this.

Stop looking at us like that. We’ll let you have the final say – because a look like this one deserves vigorous debate, just for being interesting – but we think it’s chic, playful and feels more like the spirit of the House of Chanel than anything we’ve seen from Uncle Karl’s mind palace in some time. The pleating is beautiful, the stripes are bold, and the embellishments at the waist take it somewhere unexpected. We’re not a hundred percent on the hair, but we’re loving the face. She can wear a lot of black around the eye really well. Gives her the look of a ’50s Barbie.

We suspect a good number of you are looking at us like we’re crazy, so have at it, critics:
