It’s been a tough competition and she made a good showing, but we’re afraid we’re going to have to award the Cheekbone Prize to Rufus this time. Sorry, Jenna.
As for the style, Jenna clearly takes it, since Rufus is dressed like an accountant. Granted, these PBS meet-and-greets tend to be low-key, dignified affairs, so we’d say they’re both doing it pretty much right. But at least her dress has some interest to it. It’s appropriately demure and modest in a slightly unusual color for this time of year. We bet it looked great on stage, but it tends to overwhelm her in pictures.
Victoria season one was a bit of light, frothy fun that suffered from its release coming so close to the much more popular and buzz-worthy The Crown. But that show is doing something very different from Victoria, which tends to follow the aesthetic of all British historical dramas that air on PBS. It’s comfortingly safe and on point.
