The red carpet aesthetic has been all over the place this season, but if there’s one consistency we’ve noted this month, it’s that there’s been a trend toward being obvious and on-point. That sounds like a criticism – and to be fair, sometimes it serves as one – but in some instance, it just means the person in question opted for simple glamour or simple chicness.
Guess which one Miss Lizzie chose.
Not that this can’t be considered chic, but we think the more accurate descriptor is drop-dead glamorous. No muss or fuss. Matching purse and shoes sold separately. This simple-glam trend evokes a sense of not wanting to think about the red carpet too much. This is, after all, something of an industry uniform dating back decades.
Anyway, she looks great, if not Vogue-cover ready. Which is fine, of course. Love the earrings. Not sure about the platinum blonde.
