Probably the best trend in 2017 red carpetry was the rise of the pantsuit for women. Given the presidential election last year and how closely associated this look was to Hillary Clinton, it was a no-brainer to predict that it was about to come back into fashion, no matter what the outcome of said election. In fact, we suspect Hillary’s loss may actually have spurred the pantsuit on to even greater popularity among the fashion and celebrity sets.
Anyway, since red carpets are occasionally formal affairs, we’ve also seen quite a few takes on the ladytux. We’re not saying the following is our favorite take; just that the twist is fun and worth noting.
To our way of thinking, the best ladytux is always going to be the one that comes with pants, but this is a fun, sexy, chic way of interpreting it.
We think the styling is mostly on point except for the hair. A lazy up do was needed here, right?
