The Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on November 15, 2017

Kittens, we gave the Glamour Mag WOTY spotlight to Miss Nicole, Miss Zendaya and Miss Tracee, but we’re gonna wrap this puppy up since we’re starting to hit a backlog of red carpetry, which is about as first world as first world problems get.

Now. Shall we judge, lightly and rapidly?

Bella Hadid in Cristina Ottaviano

We’re loving the whole Dynasty thing she’s got going on from the waist up, but the pants really bring the look down.

Drew Barrymore in Dear Drew by Drew Barrymore

It’s kind of cute, and we get that Mama’s gotta make a buck. but let’s face it: it’s a bit too “real world clothes” for a fashion magazine’s year-end party.

Gigi Hadid in Zuhair Murad Couture

The color’s a bit too close to her hair, but aside from that quibble, we’ve got no complaints.

Iman in Christian Siriano

SLAY, queen.

But if we’re being honest, it’s a bit draggy and the fit’s not great. Hair and face look flamazing, though.

Laverne Cox in Stello

That is some serious over-posing, but Miss Laverne is also slaying tonight.

Lynda Carter

As is Miss Lynda. Although the wrap is more than a bit fusty.

Nick Jonas

Serena Williams in Versace

We’re not usually fans of stiff, bell-like skirts, but it balances out the squared-off shoulders and the proportions look right for her. We love the touch of gold in her hair but question whether a tight pony tail was the way to go here. We’d have thought big hair.

Zosia Mamet

It couldn’t be more her. And we’d be fine with it if the pants fit correctly and it was in a color that complimented her. Also, the Gwyneth hair should be rethought. We’re just saying.
