Armie Hammer, Big Man in a Floral, at the InStyle Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Celebration

Posted on November 16, 2017

Darlings, this is totally a rhetorical question and we won’t be paying attention to any answers, but is there anything better than a big man willing to go a little soft and pretty?

Although we suppose once you opt for the baby blue suit, the floral shirt’s only a half-step more of a commitment.

We love this, even if it’s presented a little sloppily. If you’re wearing high-end suiting for pictures, you should always button the jacket and keep your hands out of your pockets, even if you’re wearing it with a t-shirt. Actually, scratch that last part. Especially, if you’re wearing it with a t-shirt. You’ve got to go that extra mile in order to stay impeccable. And if this was, say a faded rocker t or something like that, we might be a little more lenient on this matter. But a floral t-shirt is, as we said, a commitment. You’ve got to own that shit. Straighten up and sell it proudly, Armie.

Also, the brown shoes are totally distracting. You’re wearing blue and black, sir. This is a no-brainer. Black dress shoes, please. Although, given the light colors and the print, a pair of light-colored canvas shoes or kicks would not have been out of place.
