And by that we mean “SWEET JESUS ON A BREADSTICK, THANK YOU FOR GIVING US THE GIFT THAT IS JASON MOMOA.”
But also, nerd-squeeing:
Because honestly? That’s starting to look like it might be fun. The digital effects are … not going to win any awards, we predict, but it looks like Joss Whedon really did manage to bring some lightness (in every sense of the word) and color to the dreary, non-blockbuster world Zack Snyder built.
Also, the focus seems to be entirely on Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and the fact that Jason Momoa is hot to death. Works for us. That shot of her flipping the sword is fun, but the shot of her standing on the Justice statue looks like a comic book cover come to life. A little cheesy? Sure, but we’ll take cheesy over the po-faced slog that was Batman v. Superman.
Also: Cavill chest hair:
Never an unwelcome sight. In fact, if they just want to lean into the hotness of the men and the awesomeness of the one woman, we would be perfectly fine with that. It would make a nice change of pace to have the lady be the hero and all the men be the cute/sexy window-dressing.
Having said that, the costumes for Flash and Cyborg remain horrible eyesores.
