Darlings, once again we’re here to help turn you away from the cold, harsh realities of the world and embrace the warm, comforting, self-created reality of retail therapy. In other words, “Everything’s scary! Let’s go shopping!”

Works for us.

As you can see, the runways for the fall 2017 collections were awash in that old fave, the humble (and occasionally not-so-humble) polka dot. Lorenzo, ever ready to shop at the drop of a hat, took this runway trend as a starting point to load up his virtual cart with all sorts of polka-dotted items for this season. As we noted, the PD is not something that ever truly goes out of style, so the goal here was to wade through the countless dotted options to be found out there and whittle them down to their freshest iterations. We’re not reinventing anything here; just looking for fun ways to update a classic.

And with that in mind, we’re just going to dump the whole kit n caboodle on top of you:

We didn’t see much point in being cute about it. There are a ton of items here, but in our experience, most consumers only want one or two polka dotted pieces in their wardrobe at any time – unless it’s like your fashion fetish or something; in which case, go ahead and buy one of everything, darling!

But also in our experience, most shoppers don’t really know what they want until they see it. So, we’re giving it to you straight, so to speak. A pure rush of everything polka dottery. Are you in the market for a sweater? Cute dress? Sassy pair of shoes or a bag loaded with personality? It’s all there for you, dolls, in a super-wide price point range. Go. Browse. If you asked Lorenzo for his favorites, he’d cry softly and tell you he couldn’t do it. He feels his fashion so very strongly, you guys.

And by all means, check our other “Translating the Trends” posts for this fall: Sparkle Shoes, Velvet Bags, Turquoise and Patchwork! You have not yet begun to shop, kitten!

Please note that the sale runs for these items can be brief and some of the links may either take you to an item that’s no longer available or no longer available at the sales price. You gotta be quick, kittens!
